How it works
Five steps, and what each one refuses to do.
Most career tools are judged on what they promise. This one is easier to judge on what it declines to make up.
01
Tell it where you are
College, branch, graduation year, the roles you are aiming at and what you already know. Two minutes, and every recommendation after it is specific to you rather than generic.
What it will not do. It does not require any of this. Skipping onboarding costs you relevance, not access.
02
Put your resume through the parse check
FitDraft reads your file the way an applicant-tracking system does and shows you the fields it managed to pull out — name, email, phone, sections, dates — plus every place your layout defeated it.
What it will not do. There is no 0–100 “ATS match” number, because real systems do not compute one. Inventing a score would be the easiest thing here and the least honest.
03
Compare against a real posting
Paste the whole job description. Each requirement comes back marked covered, buried or missing, with the line from your resume that answers it, so you can check the judgement yourself instead of trusting it.
What it will not do. It will not tell you that a requirement is covered when the evidence is a keyword match with no substance behind it.
04
Close the gap, and prove you closed it
SkillPath ranks free lectures on the missing skill by views, engagement and what commenters actually said, weighting up the educators students already rely on. Or upload your college syllabus and get it back as an ordered path with quizzes.
What it will not do. Watching a video writes nothing to your profile. A skill becomes verified only by passing a quiz at 70% or better.
05
Rewrite, review, export
Bullets are rewritten against the posting and checked against your original document. Accept or reject each one. Export as a design-preserving PDF, as genuine LaTeX with the compiled PDF, or as Word — keeping your page count or compressed to one page.
What it will not do. A rewrite that introduces a number, a tool or an outcome your resume did not state is discarded and regenerated. You are shown how often that happened.
Start with the free plan.
Enough to put a real resume through a real parse check and start a learning path. No card, and no trial that quietly becomes a subscription.
